At CZ Ultrasound Imaging, we are a sonographer-based practice specialising in obstetrics and gynaecological ultrasound imaging. While sonographers are highly trained in performing and interpreting ultrasound examinations, we do not employ any fetal specialists within our practice.

Scope of practice of Sonographers:
Sonographers are medical professionals who conduct ultrasound scans, capture detailed imaging and provide technical observations based on imaging findings. However, sonographers DO NOT diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatments or medications or make clinical decisions about patient management. 

Patient care and follow-up:
Given the nature of ultrasound imaging, it is essential for all patients to consult with their gynaecologist/obstetrician/medical practitioner after every scan. Your selected medical practitioner will review the imaging reports in context with your medical history, conduct additional assessments and can determine if further referrals are necessary. 

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL PATIENTS:
Patients receiving imaging at CZ Ultrasound Imaging should understand that it is your duty, as a patient, to follow up with your physician.
All scans performed are at the discretion of your baby. This means that the success of every scan is dependent on multiple factors out of our control such as the fetal position, amniotic fluid levels and fetal movements. If during the initial scan, all the necessary structures cannot be adequately assessed, the patient may be asked to return for a follow-up scan. A maximum fee of 40% of the initial scan cost could be required for this follow-up scan, at the discretion of the sonographer.
CZ Ultrasound Imaging will not be held liable for any death, injury or medical-related costs of any patients visiting the practice/premises.
